Woo Myung is the author of many books on meditation, a number of which have been translated into English. Stop Living in This Land: Go To The Everlasting World of Happiness: Live There Forever; is the most recent. In this handsome presentation, both the calligraphy and illustrations are by the author, and offer visual imagery that correspond beautifully with the essays and poetry. A native of South Korea, Myung grew up in a culture that focuses on hard work, perseverance and success. Despite his many accomplishments, he was greatly disturbed by the insufficiency and anxieties of life. In 1996, after years of effort searching for inner and outer peace, he attained enlightenment while meditating in the Gaya Mountains, and became Truth. After that, Myung dedicated to helping others attain enlightenment by cleansing the self-centered body and mind through eight levels of meditation. The fact that his centers can be found around the globe underlines his conviction that the world where people live without the mind of self will be a truly joyful place to live. . . it will be a world without divisions between nations; a just world where people are honored to live for others. When people become free of themselves and become Truth, the world will become a peaceful place. This book is a living textbook on Truth that is destined to be a required reading for all humankind. It explains and answers all of fundamental questions, which remained elusive throughout the ages, such as: Where did we come from? Where do we go? and What is the purpose of human existence? Mr. Woo Myung urges all to discard the false that is the human mind world, where there is only death and suffering. The formula for Truth, the Peace

World Beyond World is the first book that gives mankind the method to becoming True Self, which is the original state of mind. Woo Myung explains that our individual mind makes the separation from oneness of the world. Also, he says that individual mind has been formed throughout life experiences and stored as images and has been accumulated and descended in our body from our ancestors. He states that in order to return to the original mind, Truth, and in order to become one from this separated world, our individual minds must be cleansed. Then, this world can live peacefully as one without separation from each other. There are many books that describe what Truth is but this is the first book to give us a step-by-step method to attaining eternal life, which fulfills the purpose of our lives. Reading this book will give you answers to many questions such as: Where did we come from? Why are we here? and Where do we go? Woo Myung explains that now is the time for human completion because now is the first time we are given the precise method to become a perfect man. Mi-young Jung / Boston, MA

World Beyond World is a book that every intellectual should read. It is a book that offers no parallel understanding of human destiny. This book will answer many of the fundamental questions that humans have carried unsolved, such as what is Truth? Is there such thing as Heaven? I am thankful to the author for providing me such clear understanding of God, Mankind, and Truth. I recommend this book for anyone to read, really. Haeryone

Diamond in the rough

Woo Myung persistently emphasizes how NOW is the time to become complete through throwing away our false mind. This man has only one goal, one vision – to see the world, discard their self-centered worlds and live together as one mind and body. The Way To Become A Person In Heaven While Living is a diamond in the rough. Woo Myung gets straight to the point. The what?: Become the mind of nature’s flow and live eternally as the soul and spirit of the universe, of Truth. The How? Throw away the false mind, the dead mind. The where? “Ma Eum Soo Ryun is a place that focuses only on cleansing oneself (p. 73).” That drove everything home for me. The what, where, why, how’s. Finally, a clean-cut book on how to obtain Truth, authored by a man who solely focuses on teaching Truth. I’m extremely happy with this book and I highly recommend those who are willing to give Truth a chance, to read this book with an open heart and an open mind. Johanna

My curiosity leads me to new step toward spirituality.

I have been always interested in philosophy and human mind. So, when I saw the book and that the author was supposedly ‘enlightened’, it immediately caught my attention and got me curious about what he would say. Basically he explains that humans are living in his own mind world, which somewhat I agree, and that world is false picture world. I have never heard the human mind being compared as pictures and human body being compared as a camera. This is new to me and a very intriguing idea. He also explains one can become completed by discarding the pictures. Now I am curious about how we can actually throw away the pictures in the mind. Mark

The nature’s flow is the life of nature

Last March, when thousands of Japanese people died suddenly due to tsunami, I felt the futility of life with the feelings of loss and regrets. The book’s content was rather different from my usual thinking about life and it felt unfamiliar and somewhat shocking, but it helped me to self-reflect on my busy life filled with greed. This book pleadingly and earnestly states that the life I live currently is false and a dream; while living, I should wake up from the dream and live in the true world, instead of the dream world. I don’t understand the contents of the book completely, but I keep reading this book because I feel the genuineness of the author’s message that one must wake up from a dream and must not live in a dream world.
